Jen Lui Ka Ki

Jen Lui Ka Ki graduated with Master degree from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Composition and Electronic Music. 

Jen was awarded The Lions & Joseph Koo Music Foundation Scholarship, the Jacky Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship, Trey Lee Scholarship and Hong Kong Academy EXCEL Scholarship.  She is an active composer in Chinese and Western Music, and Electronic music with visual effects.  Additionally, Jen also involves in drama, theater and film music composition.

In 2010, Jen worked with the Hong Kong Art for Disability Association by participating in the Quest Fest in US Washington D.C. for a performance “Joinery to the West” in which she took part as music composer, performer and projection designer.  In 2011, Jen did the floral stage and projection design for the “INK” Chinese Music Theater and participated in the international Horticultural Exposition 2011 Xian China with “Sregnis Singers” and “Varsity Saxophone Quartet” when she was Audio and Technical Manger for the performance of Hong Kong Week. Her electronic music piece “Dazzle” is also performed in Shanghai Electronic Festival 2011. During the school also held her own multimedia concerts 2012 ﹣‘Scultureqsue’ and 2013 ﹣‘Speechless’. In November 2014, She participated the Asian Young Musicians’ Connection workshop in Thailand Burapha University and worked with the Thai local musicians and dancers and composed a new music theatre work ‘Shekhinah’. 

She would like to explore in different cultures through her music and imagery.
